Lucie Cerna

These are Lucie Cerna’s responses to two drawing based tasks. The Graphics course starts out with a number of drawing based Study Units that look at composition, mark making and tone. Lucie has shown great awareness of these in two very different pieces of work. The still life of kitchen packaging shows great acknowledgement of surface graphics as well as terrific observation of a variety of three-dimensional forms and materials. The study of a vase of flowers demonstrates how a dark background can enhance a subject – the effect is very dramatic. Well done Lucie!

    Thank you so much Vanessa!

I just would like to say that those tasks were really enjoyable and challenging at the same time! And I really liked them. Especially the method with dark background. I’m happy that I had an opportunity to try it out.

    Thank you!
