Our Christmas card countdown continues today with student Ozlem Ertaylan’s dynamic artwork. The Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and transformation. The snake represents a deep connection to inner strength and clarity, encouraging us to embrace self-reflection and personal growth. Whether it’s shedding old habits or pursuing new opportunities, the Year of the Snake inspires us to evolve and thrive. Thank you Ozlem for this wonderful idea for a card.
Year of the snake – Happy Lunar New Year – I tried the popular Japanese art form known as etegami (e= image; tegami= letter) The simplest English definition of etegami may well be “Japanese postcard art.”
Happy New Year 🫶💐🎵
