We are delighted to feature the work of Vince Doherty, who recently completed the Oil Painting Diploma. Our course is designed for students who would like to try to master the art of oil painting. The course covers a wide range of techniques, from glazing and impasto to colour mixing and composition, encouraging students to explore the subjects that inspire them, while developing strong foundational skills.
We are thrilled to be able to show Vince’s artwork below. All of his pieces display a remarkable depth of colour and texture. Vince’s ability to manipulate oils to create striking visual effects is superb. The texture in the seascape in our featured image shows his confident brushstrokes giving this painting dynamic energy and boldness.
