Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge on Designing Your Name. We knew that this would be a pretty tricky challenge, and we would like to say a big well done to all of you who participated. We are truly impressed with the level of creativity and ingenuity that was demonstrated.
Our featured image this week is by student Julie Smalley who, being an architecture buff, had a lot of fun doing it. Julie said –
Always wanted to carve out a name for myself. This one’s not set in stone though, so I could still improve it. My favourite Classical building. Therefore couldn’t resist the chance to take a few liberties. In pen and water-soluble pencil on watercolour paper.
If students are unaware of where Julie has taken her inspiration, click here to find out more!!
We hope that everyone enjoyed this challenge. Stay tuned for a new Weekend Art Challenge posted here tomorrow.
