Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge where we asked our students to create a piece of artwork using the colours red and green. The theme of this challenge was very well timed as it was Remembrance Sunday, so many students decided to create artwork around this theme. Our featured image this week is by student Suzanne Prytherch who said….
As it was Remembrance Sunday at the weekend, I thought I’d have a go at drawing some poppies using pen and Polychromas colour pencils, in just reds and greens of course!
We love not only Susan’s Poppy’s but all of the Remembrance themed artwork painted by our students. Well done to you.
On a lighter note we do also have some lovely Christmas and winter themed images, we love the presents by student Lianne Jorisa. Absolutely wonderful.
We hope that you have enjoyed this challenge, we will try to have more colour challenges next year. Stay tuned for the next challenge coming tomorrow!
