I have recently completed the Illustration Course at the London Art College with tutor Steven Hersey which I very much enjoyed. I have always loved the chaos and joy in Quentin Blake’s illustrations. I had the idea of reimagining the characters in Velazquez’s “Las Meninas” in the style of Quentin Blake. My first attempt seemed insufficiently chaotic, so I had a second attempt.
