LAC TUTOR PAUL WEAVER HAS HAD 2 PAINTINGS SELECTED FOR THE ARTIST EXHIBITION – NOW OPEN!
Although the Patchings Festival, featuring ‘The Artist’ and ‘Leisure Painter’ Open Competitions, could not take place this year, the good news is that the competition still went ahead online with a virtual exhibition available to view.
Paul Weaver is delighted to announce that he has had an oil painting accepted for ‘The Artist’ exhibition, entitled ‘Cold Winter Morning’.
It is a scene in his local area, which is beautiful at anytime of the year, but the fresh snowfall and hazy winter light made it particularly appealing.
The painting is one of 70 chosen for this category in the exhibition, which you can view in full here: https://bit.ly/2OAzsoY
Another of Paul’s entries has been awarded Highly Commended. ‘Dappled Shade, Sydney Gardens, Bath’ is also an oil and is one of his favourite views along the Kennet & Avon Canal.
Enjoy viewing the exhibitions, there is a terrific mix of subject matter, styles and mediums that make a wonderful show of work.
