Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge where we set our students the task of creating artwork something beginning with the letter S. Our students did a fantastic job! We received a wonderful variety of artwork, each one unique and beautifully created. It’s always exciting to see how different artists interpret the theme, and this challenge was no exception.
Well done to everyone who took part! We hope these pieces inspire you to pick up your pencils and brushes and get creative. A new challenge will be announced tomorrow—stay tuned!…

We hope that everyone enjoyed this challenge. Stay tuned for a new Weekend Art Challenge posted here tomorrow.

Close by is his friend, a Seagull ( with his shades on) flying in the Sky with a slippery Seabass in his beak!” Ivana xHere is my submission for this weekend’s Letter S art challenge. I called it “Seven Snuggling Sleeping Squirrels” – I love squirrels, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! AliciaS is for Snow. Since I’m currently in Finland surrounded by it, I thought I’d do this quick pencil sketch of the view from my window, pencil is the only tool I have with me. Dinah Better S Sunflower Vol 2 🌻🤍 Ozlem EAttached is my drawing for the weekend’s art challenge ‘S’. It’s the ‘s’ words my 18 month old son is starting to say – snake (sssss), star, shark, and sea! It’s drawn rather crudely using his wax crayons, and is the first ‘drawing’ I’ve managed to do since his arrival. I’m hoping it’s the start of many, and that the new approach of drawing with whatever, whenever, will eventually pay off! Vicki I’ve used crushed chalk pastels like paints, dry watercolour pencils and black children’s paint Nina PFor the letter “S” I drew a Smoky Sky with a Superbly Sailing Sourpuss. The sky is drawn with watercolor, the rest is drawn with Derwent Inktense pencils. Linn ASunset Katalin Z.KS is for Snowdrop in watercolour. Heather KSunflower with oil pastels and pastel pencils on textured paper. Ni Ni
