Welcome to the first weekend art challenge of the year. We would like you to reflect on 2024 and what you learnt in your year of creativity. What do you feel was the best thing you learnt from your course for instance, perhaps you found a tutorial on YouTube that gave you a eureka moment. Perhaps it was starting to learn a new medium, a new subject, or something you realise you love painting or drawing that you didn’t before.
We would like you to start the New Year with a bang! Dive right in, be who you want to be this year. Be confident in what you want to do and achieve, be creative and most of all have fun!!
The idea of these challenges is to help students improve their skills by drawing, painting and creating regularly.
So try to submit work that you have created specifically for the challenge – or course work you are currently creating for your art course. Sometimes our challenge themes cross over with what students are learning. Our challenges are great practive for your coursework too!
