Weekend Art Challenge Results – Koala Bears

Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge, where we set our students the task of creating artwork on the theme of Koala Bears! We have received some incredible drawings and paintings this week. Some realistic paintings, some beautiful illustrations and some drawings of Koalas with real character. We hope you enjoy viewing the artwork below. Stay tuned for another challenge tomorrow!

I had fun producing this very quick pencil drawing for the challenge. Normally an animal portrait in pencil would take weeks and this only took a few hours so I will call it a weekend scribble! Quite liberating.

Here is my koala painting for this week’s challenge. I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve ever attempted a koala bear! It is made using ink, watercolour and pencil.
