Weekend Art Challenge Results – Animals Eyes

Welcome to the results of our latest weekend art challenge. We set our students the task this week to creating paintings or drawings of ‘animals eyes’. Students could choose whichever medium they preferred to create them in. We have received some fabulous artwork, quite a few cats, an alpaca and some dogs. Scroll down to see Dinah’s dog in pastel on pastelmat. Really fresh, lovely colours and photographed beautifully. Well done to Dinah and all of our other students who took part this week.

We hope that you have enjoyed viewing the results of this weeks art challenge. Another challenge will be online tomorrow. Stay tuned!

This is the eye of an alpaca! I went to an alpaca farm last week, and walked in a field where they were running free and they approached you if they wanted to. They are such gentle animals, and are so sociable – it was a lovely experience to stroke them and have them eating out of my hand.

Here is a sketch of my dog Mia’s eye. She is so lovely and gentle which I hope you can see from the drawing.
