Welcome to this weekend’s art challenge! In this challenge, we are setting our students the task of creating a piece of artwork only using the colours orange and black. It can be a full range of oranges and blacks from light to dark and all the variations in between but it must not move away from those colours if possible. We have added a lovely warm orange and black scene idea below to get you started. There should be plenty of ideas to capture your imagination. We look forward to seeing what you all come up with!
The idea of these challenges is to help students improve their skills by drawing, painting and creating regularly.
So try to submit work that you have created specifically for the challenge – or course work you are currently creating for your art course. Sometimes our challenge themes cross over with what students are learning. Our challenges are great practive for your coursework too!
