London Art College student Natalia Karavaeva is currently working through our Beginners Drawing course with tutor Steven Hersey. Natalia’s artwork is absolutely wonderful and we are so pleased to be able to show it here on our blog. We are certain that it will inspire our current students and our readers.
Our Beginners Drawing Course is an online course that teaches students the fundamentals of sketching and drawing. It is suitable for all students, especially those who want to learn how to draw well or improve their basic techniques. The course covers topics such as perspective, shapes and shadows, pencil, pen and ink drawing, use of charcoal, coloured pencils, pastels and chalk, how to draw people and how to sketch.
The course lasts for approximately three months, but students can take up to two years to complete it at their own pace. Students will receive feedback and guidance from professional tutor Steven Hersey who is an experienced artist and art teacher.
Students can also upload their artwork to the ‘The Art Room’ on the website and interact with other students in our Facebook Groups. The course is an excellent starting point for people who want to pursue drawing as a hobby or a career. You can find out more about the course by visiting our London Art College website and view the Beginners Drawing Course student gallery.
We are very much looking forward to seeing more of Natalia’s artwork and are sure her final set for the course is going to be outstanding.
