I have just completed my first assignment for the Chibi Character Creation Course and have really enjoyed drawing pages of eyes, mouths and noses! Thank you Monique for your lovely feedback on my first assignment. It was really useful and inspiring listening to your comments.
I was so excited when I saw this course on the London Art College website. I love Manga illustrations and the cuteness and colourfulness of the Chibi characters – it’s a style that really appeals to my childish side! I enjoy drawing animals and nature-inspired art but have always found drawing people and characters difficult, so I’m hoping this course will improve that.
Another reason I enrolled on the course was to motivate me to draw again – I’ve always loved art and have done various art courses over the years, as well as selling art and cards through my Planet Corinne Etsy shop and a couple of local shops. Since starting a new job last year, I haven’t been drawing and painting much, but enrolling on this course has got me back into creative mode, so thank you London Art College and Monique! I’m now studying everyone’s facial features to see if they give me inspiration for a Chibi character 🙂
