I chose a tiger to draw as they are very striking and command attention, I love the striking colours. I chose to do a mottled background with the tiger using colours within the portrait to complement the background. I did the background using pans pastels with a sponge to achieve the desired effect. I used Carbethello and Faber-Castell Pitt pencils for details, I enjoy using the pastels.
