I love experimenting with Watercolour and Acrylic Inks. My painting was worked in Watercolour and Acrylic Inks. The sky was worked wet into wet.
The foreground was a heavy wash of pigment with Acrylic Ink dropped in. I then used Florists cellophane (not clingfilm) and manipulated the colours quickly and left for 24 hours.
Once the cellophane was removed, I then used my imagination to produce this painting, adding distant shrubs, where the paints had run onto the Skyline. I added a distant church and white flowers in the immediate foreground creating the illusion of depth, with the addition of distant birds in the sky.
I called it ‘A Sunday Morning’.
