Lesley told Monika on sending her work for assessment….
“For the ‘Mug’ and the ‘Fruit Study I used watercolour paper. For the final assignment I used pastelmat. I took a little longer over it and although I enjoyed doing the wine bottle, glass, fruit and cheese. I made it too complex and got fed up towards the end and was less enthusiastic! I have used Derwent Watercolour Pencils throughout and a mono eraser for some blending.”
We agree with Monika, we are very much looking forward to seeing Lesley’s next set of work, we hope to showcase it here soon!
