This drawing was inspired by the Green & White weekend challenge, I wanted to show how white is never really pure white and how greens can be full of blues and yellows .
Using some house plants and an old jug I set up a still life on a white table and played around with the arrangement taking photos as I went along trying to keep the setup clean and simple whilst keeping in mind that I would need to create areas of interest so the viewers eye would move across the page.
I worked on hot pressed watercolour paper with coloured pencils and used an electric eraser to help with details and small highlights.
