My name is Charlotte Draper and I’m currently studying the Children’s book illustration course. We live in Cumbria just near the Lake District which tends to play a major part in my artwork as it’s hugely inspirational and somewhere of many happy memories especially at Christmas.
I have two young girls who are also a huge inspiration as they’re still of an age where their creativity has no boundaries and are forever asking the most curious of questions which in turn allows me to broaden creatively too.
We love Christmas and we have put everything up a little early this year so maximise the festive feeling in such a strange year where we may not be able to visit family or do the normal things. However we are determined to make the most of it.
