Welcome to the results of this weekends art challenge, on the theme of umbrellas! And what a colourful challenge it was! The paintings below are beautiful and some quite ingenious.
We love Sarah’s drawing with a Dandelion as an umbrella. Sarah said…. “Yella Umbrella” I love mixing flowers, fruit or real life objects with cartoon characters. Its fun for me and the intension is to make people smile!!
It definitely made us smile!
Our featured image this week is by Beate Badenhorst, of a mother elephant keeping her baby protected from the rain, painted in watercolour and drawn in ink. We absolutely love it, so fresh and crisp. Well done Beate!
We hope that everyone enjoys viewing the artwork below and stay tuned for another challenge coming soon!
