Here is Alicia Van Wyk’s work. She recently completed the packaging study unit in the Graphic Design Art Diploma Course and has achieved a fantastic solution for a new range of fizzy drinks based on Greek gods and goddesses. These feature wonderful, stylised illustrations and themed lettering and are beautifully rendered.
Her second piece is a logo for a coffee company. Alicia included a file of black and white experimentation of logo ideas based around a coffee cup, all possessing a vintage look. It is interesting to note the differing sizes and positions of the image and type that Alicia considered before making her final choice for the logo.
