Welcome to this weekends art challenge. We thought we would ease you in gently with painting portraits by starting with drawing eyes. You can either look in the mirror and draw your own, or if you have a friend or family member who will sit for you – perfect!
You can create this in any medium, drawing, painting, digital etc. Watercolour might be a lovely one to work with, laying down light pale washes and building skin tones gently. Pencil will probably be the easiest. Take your time, keep looking at your subject – or yourself! Refer back to it often, looking back and forth as you draw.
