Beginners Drawing Course student Barbara McEnery has submitted some wonderful pencil studies for one of her sets of assignments. Each drawing has been drawn and observed beautifully. Barbara’s pencil techniques are excellent and her shading is coming along very well. This is a lovely collection of drawing and we are thrilled to be able to show them here on our blog.
Keeping a sketchbook, or making sure that you draw every day is very important. It only needs to be a quick 10 minute sketch if time is limited. Some days you might find time to work slightly longer, or have the time to create a full drawing. As long as you are drawing from life, like Barbara has here, you will find that it will help your observational skills and pencil techniques no end.
