If any of our readers are interested in studying landscapes, seascapes and skies, our Landscape Painting Diploma Course could be perfect for you. Student Ann Ray has shown below some of her sketchbook work which is really interesting for our students to view. It is so important to keep a sketchbook, whether it’s to note down colours and doodles or to take out with you to draw objects you find on your travels or landscapes. It is kind of like a picture diary for your adventures. Even if you don’t go too far each day, I’m sure students could find something interesting to draw or paint. Ann’s watercolour studies are beautiful and they really describe each scene in a short space of time working on them. It also really helps students when painting final pieces, like Ann has below!
