Sharron Blackmore collected her June Atherton award for Best Beginner in Show 2011 at the SAA exhibition yesterday and we are thrilled to be able to post a photo of Sharron here collecting her award. There were over 6000 entries this year and some stunning paintings on display according to Sharron.

We would also like to mention Dana Mallion, who is currently studying the Drawing and Painting Diploma Course who was chosen for ‘Commended Finalist’. Her work was also shown at the SAA’s Its All About Art event in London.
